Cemetery Drive =]

Everyone has that one special place in the their mind.
You know...the place where you can truly be alone.
Where you can think about everything going on in your life.
And all of your true feelings can be set free & expressed.
But with that special place in your mind, sometimes it's just easier to go there mentally,
With the right physical spot. A quiet, people free place. Where you could do anything, and no-one but you...
Would know.

I have a few spots around the surrounding towns (including my own) where I have my own spots. Places I like to go on days like this. Weeks like this. To just...I don't know...escape everything & everyone I guess.
Take a walk over, find a nice place to sit or lay down or stand...blast a quiet-ish, mood fitting song..and just think.
Think everything over.
Everything on my mind
Everything going on..

Scruffy said last night, that I needed to find my "outlet".
His is working out & running & wrestling. Stuff like that really. It really helps him. =]
Mine? I'm honestly not quite sure just yet. I don't know and I don't care if it's good or bad or whatever it may truly be.
I'm me.
But I do think walks & hanging out on my own at places like those are.
Where I just got back from is a perfect example.
I'll tell you what the place is, just not where.
However weird this might sound to some of you guys/girls...
It's a cemetery.

I LOVE cemeteries.
Like, it might be weird, but I'm honestly telling the truth.
Their just peaceful usually. Ya know?
-sigh-

But I've been waiting to just have that kind of time to myself.
To explore, think, walk around.
I've gone to the cemetery for a year or two now,
And yet just found a secret path & mini bridge in it.
(There's a pond towards the begining of the cemetery, and thats kinda my spot.)

Yea I'm loosing my friends in some ways.
But I have & know who most of the real ones are.
I'm done with my past.
It's that simple.

My project, as I have said before, is to make a book in a week in my life. (Though that might be a really scary thought to some of you....that or boring) It's actually not a bad idea. I know I'm not that unique to the everyday teenage girl, but I'm not the classic. That much is evident.

Anywayz, I explained to Vasa that I wanted to make my book, have 3D aspects to it. Ribbon, Bottle Caps, Key chains, stuff like that. The best book that we decided to use is the Star book.

(This is a star book...It's ok. I didn't know what it was before either..)

I've finished the taking pictures part. Now I'm pretty much procrastinating the actual creation of this said book. I don't really get the instructions, so I'm looking up other ones. Practicing at home :D (Yes Vasa I'm actually trying/working! :D Just not to much success... -sigh-)

So cha. Thats how my person project is coming along. God, I can't wait to see it once I'm done! (Eventually....) ^-^ <3

Star book!

Photo II....not my best of subject this year. Then again, what is? Anywayz, we got a new project. An individual project. Mine? "Donna: Digital: Create a book following a week in the life of Donna." This should be interesting. My choice of book style? Star. My idea? 25 shots right? Well, 5 pages must be made for have a star. So 25/5 = 5. Four close friends, And on page to myself. Lets see....

And 1....2.....3.....GO!

A trip around the world! Woot!

Poland. More Specifically, Krakow. <3 I've only dreamt of being there ever since an old friend of mine had shown me pictures & told me about her summers there. I'd simply love going for at least two or three months. The city, is simply breath-taking....like woah.

Endless mysterious forests, wilderness, exploring, roaming open fields, majority of the people there are sweethearted & kind. And there's a huge historical section and shopping part to it too.

If I had to chose a single place, it'd be here. Trust me. <3

I'm on the road to Viridian City! (Nah...not really..I'm actually going to Smithsonian Museum Of Natural History) :D

If I could only go to one last museum in the world, I'd visit the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History! I've only been there once in my life so far and I honestly did love it. Unlike say, American History or Worldwide news or Wax museum's, this one can entertain and inform all ages. =] I went once durring a family week long vacation to DC in the 6th grade summer. Dad's a big (and I mean BIG) history freak. So it makes sense. But having a kid (ME! :D) we went to all the museums while visiting. Ya know? To really gather & see all the sites. =]

This museum was amazing to be honest. So much to look 'n see! Anywhere from gems, to fossils and artifacts, to paintings. It was just unbelievable! I'd recommend it to anyone who is living or visiting that area. GO! GO NOW! x]

Wrong Station, Right Image

This image I posted a link to above really caught my eye and made me remember it. I don't know exactly why it did but it has. Maybe it's because I'm from New York. And having been to that station many times since I was a kid. (Or at least very, very similar stations like that one). Maybe its because of all the vividly bright colors with such a dull background?
Whatever it was about this picture, it's very well taken and I love it. =]

In an artless goverment......

If I lived in any place where the heads or government restricted or banned any to all types of art I'd go nuts. Art, whether its with writing, drawing, painting, photography, or anything for that matter, the world wouldn't be the same at all. Without the freedom to express ourselves in different ways, emotions bottle up more. What if you were someone who didn't really like the world. Who lived a pretty dull, dark & dim life. What would you do? Can't truly do much without art. No real true way to say what your wouldn't or couldn't say normally. What would happen to you? Everything, thoughts, feelings and everything upon everything that happened to you stayed there. No-one else knowing or understanding. I think, if you were that person, you'd go nuts too.
